Working in small groups students will be presented with a number of possible conditions for the genuine patients that they will encounter. Through examination and reasoning your goal is to make a correct diagnosis for your patients. This practical will be supervised and supported by lectures with all equipment provided.
In the coming weeks further information will be placed onto the web-site to prepare you for this important clinical session. (Please note students have the option to wear their white lab coats, if they bring one with them, for this and all other practicals if they choose.)
It is expected that patient confidentiality will be respected and discussion of patients and their symptoms will be restricted to the immediate group and supervising doctors.
